Leaders in Training "LIT" (ages 14-16)

The LIT is a three week program designed for young men and women who have a drive to learn leadership skills. The First week is spent in leadership training. Through a series of group discussions, teambuilding, initiatives, and challenge course participation we explore each camper's inner potential and leadership abilities. The second week is devoted to "Service to Others." Service projects teach the importance of sharing your talents and abilities with others. LIT' s will gain documented community service within the Winston Salem community. The third week is spent hiking on the Appalachian Trail. This provides the perfect setting to solidify the group bond with each other and reflect upon lessons learned.

Interested? Please send a paper registration form and a letter to Jen de Ridder at camp by

January 31, 2009.  In your letter please tell Jen a little about yourself and why you would like to be a part of the program.  Why do you want to be a CIT?
