Gazebo Dedication

On July 16^th our YMCA had the honor of dedicating a renovated outdoor Gazebo at Camp Hanes in memory of Becky Russ. Becky’s life revolved around caring for others, inspiring her children and influencing lives in a positive way.

 

 

Through the generosity of Becky’s friends and the wishes of her family, the Gazebo at Camp was completely renovated and is one of the campers’ favorite spots this summer.

 

 

The Gazebo is a shaded open air facility with picnic tables that overlooks the lower lake.

 

 

In this peaceful spot, cabin groups have their devotions, reflect on the day or have fun together. It has quickly become a signature element of Camp and we’re blessed to have received this wonderful gift.
